The assignment is scheduled for a total duration of approximately two (2) months from the date of notification of the approved contract.
3. The Ministry of Mines and Energy invites eligible individual consultants to express their interest in providing the services described above. Interested consultants must provide information that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform these services. The consultant should be a specialist in mining and geology laboratories of international standards. He must have a BAC +5 in geochemistry or equivalent degree. He should have relevant experience of at least ten (10) years in geochemical mine laboratory analysis in particular. In addition, he will have experience in geochemical laboratory technician training and proven experience in personnel development strategy and planning similar tasks. The consultant must provide evidence of completion of the geo-scientific services in, at least, two countries. A mixed private and public sector experience would be an asset. The selection criteria are as follows:

The attention of consultants interested in the mission should also address paragraph 1.9 of the World Bank Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers, January 2011 (revised July 2014) (Consultant Guidelines ) which describes the World Bank’s conflict of interest policies.
5. A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Individual Consultant Selection procedures specified in the Consultant Guidelines above.
