IBI is currently looking for a Chief of Party (CoP) for an upcoming USAID-funded Domestic Revenue Mobilization for Development (DRM4D) program in Uganda. The program seeks to help Uganda strengthen the tax culture, increase voluntary compliance, and sustainably increase domestic revenue mobilization, thereby creating the fiscal space for public spending and investments in service delivery in priority sectors such as health, education, and agriculture.
The CoP will be responsible for the entire program and its results, and will be required to work with various stakeholders, including high level Ugandan government and USAID officials. It is his/her responsibility to guide and/or redirect the focus of individual tasks of the activity to achieve the results in response to rapidly changing conditions or opportunities. S/he is the team’s chief interlocutor with USAID and is responsible for establishing and maintaining constructive working relationships with stakeholders spanning the public sector, private sector, and civil society in Uganda and with other development partners and USAID implementers. The COP is the final authority for the contractor on management issues including staff, logistics, financial accounting, and security.

Period of Performance:Â Five years
Functional Responsibilities:Â The CoP will provide overall strategic, managerial and technical direction for the project to help ensure its success, identify issues and risks, and suggest program adjustments during implementation in a timely manner.
