ICF SA, the European branch of ICF, has a growing track record of research and evaluation services in the humanitarian sector for a range of clients, in particular the European Commission (Directorate General Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection – DG ECHO), but also including the UK Department of International Development and UN agencies.).
About the opportunity
To better serve our key clients we are looking to expand our network of humanitarian experts, to cover a wide range of thematic and geographical areas. We are seeking international as well as local experts/consultants to carry out various tasks based on upcoming opportunities.

What we are looking for
Whether you are a national or international expert, we expect you to have strong experience and skills in a range of thematic areas and methodological tools and approaches. More specifically we are looking for the following qualification and skills:
Relevant academic background
A minimum of 5 years of work experience in the humanitarian sector Field experience primarily in Africa and/or the Middle East, but also in Asia and the Pacific and/or Latin America and the Caribbean
Experience in carrying out research, monitoring and evaluation using different quantitative and qualitative data collection and analytical methods, including participative and inclusive approaches
Experience in writing reports, articles, guidelines, etc. for donors and international organisations/agencies
Experience with knowledge management, knowledge sharing, capacity building, mutual learning, etc.
Fluency in oral and written English
A proactive attitude and flexibility
Technical experience (i.e. at least 3 years) in one or more of the following areas:
