Plan International has implemented grants from the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, since Round 4.
Plan has experience working on Global Fund grants in Benin, Burkina Faso, El Salvador, Guinea, India, Liberia, Malawi, Mali, Niger, Senegal, Thailand, Togo and Zimbabwe.
The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, based on the proposal of the Guinea Country Coordinating Mechanism, has designated Plan International Guinea as Principal Recipient (PR) to implement the combined tuberculosis-HIV prevention grant for the period 2018-2020.
The Deputy Chief of Party, Finance and Administration is a pivotal role within the team and responsible for overseeing project finances and operations, including administration, in accordance with relevant Global Fund rules and regulations and in line with Plan International’s financial and administrative management policy provisions.
The Deputy Chief of Party, Finance and Administration (D-COP Finance & Administration) will oversee quality financial and administrative management and financial reporting (monthly, quarterly and annual basis) of the grant. The D-COP-Finance & Administration will ensure best use of resources by managing the preparation of sound budgets, monitoring project expenses, ensuring compliance with grant terms and conditions, preparing for and facilitating the audit of the grant according to Plan International and donor requirements and schedules, conducting monthly progress monitoring and on-site data verification of Plan International’s partners’ financial systems (including Sub-Recipients (SR)), organizing regular coordination and learning meetings with SR & partner finance teams, overseeing development of vendor and other partner contracts, overseeing project procurement and ensuring timely payments to vendors and partners, ensuring Plan, vendor and all partners comply with both Plan, vendor and local legislative requirements, and fulfilling any other anticipated activities to support quality implementation of the TB/HIV grant.
