Project Psychosocial Cancelling Coordinator)
Job Summary:
The job holder is responsible for leading the field Psychosocial team in implementing psychosocial interventions including individual and group counselling sessions, initiatives to strengthen community based psychosocial support, and field level coordination.
The position holder will work closely with the SGBV, child protection, legal and community based protection teams receiving referrals and ensuring confidential PSS case management and follow up.
The post holder will be responsible to the Psychosocial Outreach Manager .
Duties:
Ø Plan and implement PSS interventions for amputees and members of the host community identified with need.
Ø Supervise and provide technical guidance to PSS assistants.
Ø Build the capacity of the PSS team to foe effective service delivery.
Ø Prepare sector reports on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
Ø Provide timely professional and confidential counselling services to survivors of GBV both new and old cases, children at risks, persons with specific needs and others identified as in need.
Ø Lead sectoral documentation to capture success stories, best practices for further advocacy and program development.
Ø Lead community awareness creation through outreaches to the communities with community structures and partners on PSS.
Ø Assist in development and provision of psychosocial services to the field office based on participatory community assessment.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
An excellent command of verbal and written English.

· Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience
· Strong experience working with vulnerable people including survivors of GBV and child abuse.ith com
Education Requirements
· Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, counselling or other related field.
· Experience in child counselling
