
What you will do
People & Culture will lead the charge in building an outstanding work environment that allows our team to thrive and do extraordinary work – from planning fun company events, to implementing new hiring strategies, designing the best employee benefits package to making sure the office is running as efficiently as possible.
- Collaborate as a member of the leadership team to map talent strategy to business strategy.
- Manage our hiring process and ensure that Irembo is an employer of choice in our field.
- Champion and grow Irembo’s company culture, helping the team continually live our values through effective programs and internal communications to promote morale and achieve our goals.
- Enhance our talent-management process including recruiting, on-boarding, performance management, team development, retention and succession.
- Create and manage progressive and proactive compensation and benefits programs to motivate, incentivize and reward performance. Partner with the leadership team and lead the implementation of high-performance systems, including OKRs, 360 degree reviews.
- Be a thought leader for managers on organizational and people related matters.
- Lead the development of an office and physical environment that supports and drives performance, collaboration, and the company’s values.

You have a successful track record of building and delivering talent acquisition and people programs from the ground up in a fast-growing organization.

- You are highly organized and can drive routine processes ( e.g employee appraisals) and new tasks (e.g revision of benefits packages) with ease and quality.
- You are versatile and have diverse perspectives to advise other department leads on better management skills by creating workshops to teach various human management principles.
