OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME
The mission of WHO’s Health Emergencies Programme is to build the capacity of Member States to manage health emergency risks and, when national capacities are overwhelmed, to lead and coordinate the international health response to contain outbreaks and to provide effective relief and recovery to affected populations
Description Of Duties
Required Qualifications
Education
Essential: First level university degree is required in Medicine or Epidemiology.
Desirable: Master’s Degree in Public Health or Epidemiology.
Experience
Essential: At least 2 years’ experience in communicable disease control programs with expertise in epidemiology and surveillance of communicable disease
Desirable: Experience in an international organization with proposal writing and reporting , budgeting and procurement

REMUNERATION
Remuneration comprises an annual base salary starting at LYD 44,994 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable) and 30 days of annual leave.
