One Family Foundation is currently anchoring Catalyst 2030 and works as the secretariat on behalf of Catalyst 2030 and the membership.
We are recruiting for a Research to Action Intern to support us. Catalyst 2030 offers the Intern the opportunity to work with young people from various countries, and to challenge him/herself within the context of a vibrant and growing organisation.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
● Conduct research and assist with writing, editing, and publication of reports on the social venture ecosystem learning, scaling social impact, and systems level change.
● Coordinate, market, and organise events focused on peer to peer learning between social entrepreneurs, as well as events with academic researchers on topics that will assist the growth and scale of social ventures.
● Assist with the research and development of action-oriented sector building work, survey design, data collection, and analysis that influences social entrepreneur practice, enhances academics research, ultimately public policy.
● Accelerate matchmaking and collaborations between social entrepreneurs and academics, SE-SE, SE and other capacity building networks (B Corps, CSR, government agencies, UN, etc.) through written communications and zoom conversations.
● Identify, coordinate and share co-created tools to achieve systems level change and amplification of the social entrepreneur movement through an online portal and existing social media channels.

● Promoting events and final reports on social media channels (in partnership with communications intern) to create relevant media content for Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.
● Collect information, engage in meetings, write reports, and control content, managing the overall project management of Catalyst 2030 initiatives.
● Other research and coordination tasks as they arise.
Requirements and Skills:
● Finalising or towards the end of your studies with experience in research), with an interest in any of the following: SDGs, systemic change and social entrepreneurship.
● Passionate about research, data collection, writing reports and strong critical thinking skills, an analytical mind, and an aptitude for synthesizing information.
● Knowledge of research, data collection, and analysis
● Collect data and assist with the analysis and production of reports.
● Fluency in English; other languages would be an asset.
● Good communication and social skills and the ability to work in a multicultural setting.
● Proven organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
● Coordinate/support internal and external activities (local or international meetings, drafting and editing of minutes, communication with social entrepreneurs and researchers, etc.)
● Hands-on attitude and willing to help out flexibly.
● Preferably available immediately for a minimum of six months
