About the role:
Deputy Team Leader- NUCAP (National position)
Duty Station: Northern Region (Gulu/Lamwo)
Save the Children is seeking a Deputy Team Leader for the anticipated 4-year FCDO Northern Uganda Climate Action Project (NUCAP). S/he will have oversight of day to day field activities, including partnership management, development of workplans, budgets and reporting. The position holder will provide leadership on the implementation of the SCI project activities. The project aims to strengthen capacity to contribute to the conservation and restoration of landscapes through the development of green, sustainable livelihoods, supported by well-functioning and incentivised value chains, whilst being inclusive of the private sector. This will be achieved through enhanced bio-diversity and conservation of native tree species, enhanced adaptive capacity and resilience to climate change for communities and landscape and lastly through diversifying green livelihoods and private sector investments.
