International Development Group LLC (IDG) is seeking an experienced Electronic Survey Expert for a short-term assignment in Senegal to support a quasi-experimental impact mid-term evaluation of a USAID food security program. The anticipated dates of the evaluation are February-August 2015.
The Electronic Survey Expert will be responsible for overseeing programming and development of a survey instrument for smartphones or tablets, piloting and troubleshooting of the electronic survey instrument, quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis using smartphones or tablets, and supervising and training the use of hardware and software, in order to support the production of a comprehensive evaluation report. Data collection for the evaluation will include extensive household surveys, focus group discussions (FDGs), and key informant interviews (KIIs); electronic data collection will focus on surveying. The evaluation will be conducted over 3-4 regions and small offices will be maintained in each region. Work will be conducted in French.
