Job Summary
Food for the Hungry (FH) is searching for an experienced Senior Grants Finance Manager for the anticipated BHA/DRC Resilience Food Security Activity (RFSA) with an anticipated budget of $100m-299,99 million over 5 years. The program will seek to improve and sustain the food and nutrition security of vulnerable populations through multi-year resilience food security activities. These activities work at the individual household, community, and institutional level to address the underlying causes of food insecurity and malnutrition and strengthen transformative opportunities. RFSAs are intended to strengthen resilience in populations vulnerable to acute, chronic hunger, and malnutrition; recurrent shocks, stresses, and crises, and to reduce the need for ongoing or future emergency food assistance.
Position Purpose
The purpose of this position is to manage and oversee the financial management of a multi-year integrated Resilience and Food Security Program. The position oversees the financial, operational, and administrative aspects of the program while ensuring compliance with program terms, USAID regulations and FH policies and procedures.
Principal Responsibilities
Key responsibilities will include control of assets, review of all financial transactions, preparation of financial reports, pipeline analysis and funds planning, control/coordination of finances with external agencies, including government, USAID, sub-grantees and implementing partners.
This role will support the project teams and implementing partners in achieving project goals by ensuring funding integration, financial accountability, financial staff planning, and reporting.
Likewise, will provide detailed financial analysis, reporting, system and process development, training and support to all financial staff associated with the grant. Will also be a member of the project management team and ensure that national legislations and country specific standards are adhered to and applied.

Language
Fluency in spoken and written English is required, and Intermediate skills in French is desired. Ability to write and present reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from senior leadership, Government representatives, USAID, board of directors, consortia partners and the general public.
