Sightsavers is looking for a monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) professional with advocacy experience within an NGO/INGO to support monitoring advocacy work across the organisation. This is a 9 month fixed term contract to cover parental leave.

The role of Global Advocacy Monitoring Adviser can be full time (35 hours, Monday – Friday) or part time (ideally 28+ hours, flexible), with some flexibility around hours worked. This role can be based remotely or hybrid within Kenya or Ghana.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced monitoring, evaluation, analysis, and learning professional with strong understanding and experience of advocacy within an NGO/INGO. You will play a key role in ensuring advocacy in Sightsavers is monitored effectively, and input on Sightsavers strategic data analysis. Building on Sightsavers existing advocacy data systems, you will ensure effective data collection, visualisation and analysis; ability to develop dashboards using PowerBI would be of particular interest, although this is not essential.
