Overview:
At the request of USAID, MECC will undertake an assessment of an economic growth activity currently being implemented in parts of DRC to address the Cassava Brown Streak Disease (CBSD). Findings from the assessment will help to inform the strategic direction of the activity, identify bottlenecks to success, and identify recommendations for addressing identified issues. IBTCI is seeking a Subject Matter Expert to provide expertise to the assessment, working closely with the Team Lead, MECC technical team, and USAID. This is a short-term position to be carried out in Kinshasa and other relevant in-country locations as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Education: An advanced degree in Agricultural Sciences or related field.
Supervisory Responsibility: This position does have supervisory responsibilities.
Travel: Travel throughout DRC.
