Reporting structure and partners
The JPO will work in the Governance Unit which is structured around a Team Leader with Program Managers and Programme Officers. The Unit works closely relevant Ministries and the National Independent Electoral Commission of Burkina Faso and other stakeholders.
Work implies frequent interaction with the following partners and stakeholders: Representatives of international and regional organizations and governments; staff and officers of electoral management bodies and other national institutions involved in the electoral process; staff and officers of political parties, non-governmental organizations, academic institutions, institutes and foundations as well as media representatives.

1) Programme support functions within the Democratic Governance pillar of the country programme – 40%
2) Support the Country Office in the monitoring the electoral process to ensure that lessons learnt are captured and shared with the relevant stakeholders – 30%
3) Contribute to gender mainstreaming in programming and promote positive results in this regard – 30%
Important information for US Permanent Residents (‘Green Card’ holders)
