Cluster Paix et Sécurité
Le Groupe Paix et Sécurité (PSC) de l’UNOPS est l’un des principaux prestataires de services dans le domaine de l’action antimines avec le Service de l’action antimines des Nations Unies (UNMAS), le PNUD, l’UNICEF , les gouvernements des pays touchés par les mines et d’autres partenaires de l’action antimines. Il est dirigé par le directeur, qui a l’autorité générale et la responsabilité du rendement de la CFP au nom de ses clients. Le Directeur est chargé d’administrateur et de superviseur de la gestion quotidienne des bureaux extérieurs du projet, à la fois selon les besoins des clients et conformément aux règles et règlements de l’UNOPS.
Informations générales – Programme Mali
Le Mali est confronté à un problème de contamination par les armes et les risques d’explosion en raison de conflits armés prolongés et récents. La présence de restes explosifs de guerre (REG), d’engins explosifs improvisés (EEI) et de stocks non sécurisés d’armes et de munitions (obsolètes, abandonnées ou négligées) constitue une menace sérieuse pour les civils ainsi que pour le personnel des Nations Unies et le personnel humanitaire opérant dans le pays. de campagne.
UNMAS s’est déployé au Mali en janvier 2013 pour mener une évaluation d’urgence de la situation en ce qui concerne les menaces d’explosion. En juillet 2013, la Mission multidimensionnelle intégrée des Nations Unies pour la stabilisation au Mali (MINUSMA) a été créée en vertu de la résolution 2100 du Conseil de sécurité et fonctionne actuellement en vertu de la résolution 2531 (2020) du Conseil de sécurité. Objectif et étendue de la mission
Conformément aux politiques applicables de l’ONU et aux mandats du Conseil de sécurité, le directeur principal des opérations du programme UNMAS au Mali est responsable de l’établissement et du développement de procédures de prévention et d’atténuation pour gérer la menace d’EEI pour le personnel, les biens et les programmes des Nations Unies. Il / elle agira en tant que point focal local entre l’UNMAS / MINUSMA et d’autres parties prenantes clés sous la direction et la direction du gestionnaire de programme UNMAS.
