Assist the CIFOR-ICRAF research team in the design, implementation, analysis, and reporting of research activities in the various projects
Support and follow-up activities of community-based organizations, including agroforestry enterprises and women’s groups, targeted by the projects
Coordinate the organization of project workshops, meetings and virtual discussions
In collaboration with other scientists, produce publications, such as technical reports, technical sheets, training manuals, blogs and journal articles
Contribute to resource mobilization

Requirements
Solid theoretical background (MSc level) in agricultural economics, rural development and sociology, with practical experience in value chain analysis, rural entrepreneurship, business skills development and institutional and policy context analysis
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in statistical software
Experience with socio-economic survey design and implementation
Basic knowledge on gender issues and gender-sensitive research and project development
Practical experience with natural resource management, forest management and community forestry
Willing to work in rural areas and travel extensively in often remote areas
Proficiency in English and good working knowledge in French; Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently, as well as in multicultural and multi-disciplinary teams
Ability to work under pressure and deliver on time
