Proposal Summary:
The Action to Reduce and Respond to Exploitation and Trafficking (ARRETE) is a five-year activity funded by USAID/DRC. This activity will help the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (GDRC) to build institutional capacity to have more effective Counter Trafficking in Persons programming across the DRC, and expand access to services for survivors.
Position Summary:
ABA ROLI is seeking a Senior Gender and Social Inclusion Specialist who will be primarily responsible for providing leadership on activities related to SGBV, gender integration, social inclusion, and marginalized groups included but not limited to youth and people with disabilities (PWD). The Specialist will lead ongoing gender analysis and advise on ways to bridge gender gaps that lead to trafficking across the gender spectrum in DRC. S/he will work with the team to identify the different risks for men, women, and other groups vulnerable to GBV and trafficking in DRC. S/he will work with the COP and the Senior Counter-trafficking Advisor to identify the range of reintegration opportunities and support services needed by survivors of trafficking and describe how gender considerations will be integrated into program implementation and monitoring and evaluation. In addition, the Gender and Social Inclusion specialist will be responsible for linking efforts to promote youth and counter SGBV and TIP.
This will be a full-time position based in DRC and reports to the ABA ROLI Chief of Party.

· Previous experience working with international development implementing partners is strongly encouraged.
· Previous experience working with civil society organizations is highly desirable.
