The overall objective of the project of which this contract will be a part is as follows: evaluate how Rwanda is perceived domestically and internationally, analyse Rwanda’s competitiveness by indicating its strengths and weakness and formulate sound recommendations to enable RDB and the private sector to increase their businesses.
Key expert 1: Team leader
(Minimum 25% of time will be spent in the partner country.)
Qualifications and skills:Â
-A relevant university degree at least Master’s Degree level in marketing and communications, social sciences.
– A related field will be taken to include statistics, business administration, tourism, and sustainable development.
General professional experience:Â
-At least 12 years of professional experience in leading market research and developing and implementing multi-faceted marketing and communications campaigns;
– Proven experience in undertaking data analysis, especially tourism analysis.
– Knowledge of global tourism trends would be an advantage.
– Knowledge of perceptions of Rwanda domestically and internationally would be an advantage.
Specific professional experience:Â
– At least 12 years of experience in developing and executing market research at a domestic, regional
and international level.
– Proven experience of collecting and analysing tourism employment data.
– Proven experience of analysing market portfolio analysis and investment markets.
Language skills:Â
Fluency in oral and written communications in English (C2 level)
