Sewerage Design Expert for the design and supervision of the Construction of Condominial network, with anaerobic baffle reactor treatment plant and engagement of behaviours change communication (BCC) in Malanje City

The assignment shall be undertaken in two phases:

Phase 1 shall be a lump sum contract with a duration of 6 (six) months.

•               Undertaking the Construction Supervision Services for the construction of Condominial network infrastructure and associated facilities and complete them in all respect within the time and allocated budget. The works contracts will all be prepared using the World Bank’s Standard Bidding Document for Procurement of Works. Phase 2 includes the following: construction supervision, verification, and quality control; and preparation of technical standards; Implementation of Behavior Change Communication (BCC) Plan (including Stakeholder’s Engagement plan) together with the Contractor´ Social Team and coordinate its implementation, implementation of Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM) Plan and build capacity of PWSU. Phase 2 shall be time-based contract, with a duration of 22 months.

Phase 2 shall be a time-based contract with a duration of (18) eighteen months.

•             9.1 Km (17 Demo and 1,114 new construction) total beneficiaries 1,131 un of plots with 5 m pipe length each) in Ritondo neighborhood; and

•             8.71 Km (24 Demo and 784 new toilets construction) total beneficiaries 808 un of plots with 5 m pipe length each) in Maxinde/ Cafucufuco neighborhood.

(Total length of Condominial is 17.9 Kms and total latrines to
