Training the staff of the partner organisation and teachers in the diocesan schools in non-violent teaching and learning methods.
Transfer of competences in the areas of: prevention & transformation of conflicts in the school context, tolerance of diversity (interreligious dialogue) and personal integrity.
Development of concepts and methods on non-violent teaching (school) and education (parental work) as well as the integration of peace education as a transversal component of teaching.
Implementation of measures to raise awareness of children’s rights as well as integration of conflict sensitivity (Do No Harm) in project work.
Support in coming to terms with the local shared history of Christians and Muslims.
Proper spending and administration of funds on site according to the donor guidelines and the requirements of AGIAMONDO. They work in partnership with the SEDUC.
Your profile
You have a university degree, e.g. in education, teaching or adult education and have several years of practical experience in peace education, conflict-sensitive education and adult education. Experience in working with parents is a plus.
You have at least theoretical knowledge of children’s rights, conflict prevention and transformation.
Initial experience with interfaith dialogue is advantageous.
You speak fluent French and English and have a driver’s license.
You are an EU or Swiss citizen, a member of a Christian church and identify with the goals and concerns of church development and peace work.
