Job location: Port Sudan; pending visa approval temporary accommodation in Nairobi
Pay Band: 4 (€44,133 – € 49,038) per annum.
Contract: 1 year fixed term contract
Job purpose:
This is a 12 months’ new role with unaccompanied terms. Reporting to the System Director, He/She will provide coordination for Logistics functions in Sudan to ensure that effective and efficient support is provided to the program activities, to ensure quality of programme delivery in line with Concern’s policies and procedures. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing Procurement, Warehousing Management, Fleet Management, Fixed Assets Management and Donations in Kind. The role also involves promoting accountability by enforcing adherence to Concern global standards and Sudan’s policies and procedures. Strong diplomacy, staff supervision skill, and the ability to deal with difficult situations are major features of this role as you will be overseeing support systems. He/She will also be expected to support in developing accurate transport and administration budgets for donor proposals and as part of Concern’s annual budget processes. You will undertake frequent support visits to the programme areas.
