The candidate should have the following qualifications/experience
Level of education: Bachelor’s, Master’s Degree or post-graduate qualification in transport economics, economics, or related field. (A post-graduate qualification in transport economics is an added advantage)
General areas of expertise and year working experience: A minimum of 15 years’ experience in economic analysis and modeling, transportation demand forecasting, economic impact assessment.
Key specialisms: project evaluation, economic evaluation, financial projections
Candidate should have at least 8 years of experience with transport development activities: this includes policy, infrastructure, financing and technology aspect.
Years’ experience as government advisor or in international organisation: 5 Years’ experience working with donor or governmental agencies.
Ability to work in English language: it is mandatory for candidates to be fluent in the English language with excellent analytical and communication skills.
