About CRS Benin
CRS has been in Benin since 1958 and has long-standing relationships throughout the country with church and non-church partners, the government and local communities. CRS’s program in Benin has a growing and diverse funding base with projects in education, health, nutrition, microfinance, agriculture, food security and livelihoods, water, sanitation and hygiene, emergencies and social cohesion.
CRS has offices in Cotonou and Parakou.
Job Summary:
As Chief of Party I you will provide leadership and overall management of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) funded McGovern-Dole International Food for Education and Child Nutrition project to serve the poor and vulnerable. Your leadership, management and technical knowledge will ensure the delivery of high-quality programming and advance the position of CRS as a leading agency in education, school feeding, WASH and nutrition field. The Chief of Party I manage a large team of CRS staff but also three project partners ( one international and 2 national NGOs) implementing an integrated program in at least 175 schools and with a fort polio of over US$ 25million for a period of 5years. As a senior leader you will proactively manage security and mitigate security risks.

Deputy Chief of Party ,MEAL Officer, and Project Administrator. The Chief of Party will work have a technical dotted line to the Project Grant Compliance Officer and the Commodities Manager who will be affected 100% to the FFE II project

Internal
Head of Programming, Head of Operations, Supply chain team, Project team, Country Representative, Finance manager and finance team, HQ Project Support Officer for Benin, global USDA grants management team, global and regional education advisors, global and regional WASH advisor, global and regional nutrition advisors, country program MEAL team, regional and global MEAL team
External
USDA, Sub recipients and other stakeholders, Government officials, public and private sector stakeholders, donors, industry experts, local/international NGOs, and local and international Catholic agencies, Ministry of Primary Education, educations partners & stakeholders, steering committee of integrated school feeding program of Benin, etc.
