Strengthening Social Mobilization for Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) Prevention and Improved Child Wellbeing in Eight Guinean Prefectures
Background
ChildFund International intends to recruit a Consultant with a background in Psycho-social support (PSS) and Health or PSS and Education with specific expertise in social mobilization at the community and school level, training local officials, community health workers, and community members on PSS, and responding to the psychosocial needs of communities affected by the EVD epidemic in eight Guinean prefectures. The Consultant will lead implementation of social mobilization and training activities for 4-6 months, monitor work plans, and write reports.

Expected Travel:Conakry – Guinea. With field interventions taking place in 8 prefectures: Dabola, Dalaba, Dinguiraye, Faranah, Kindia, Mamou, Pita, and Telimélé.

Timeframe
4-6 months in Guinea – contingent upon ChildFund securing the funding.
Language:
Fluent written and spoken French and working knowledge of English.
Management and Supervision
The Consultant will report to ChildFund’s Project Manager in Guinea. The Consultant will work closely with the Project Manager, ChildFund Guinea Program Manager and SSR/LPs field team.
